AARP Smart Driver classroom program will held at the Bedford Senior Center, 205 S. Richard St., Bedford, from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. July 5, 6, 7. For specific information and to register for the class, call 814-623-5140 between 8 a.m. and 2:30 p.m Monday through Friday.

Bedford County Garden Club will host a National Garden Club Horticulture specialty show from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 3 at the Bedford Presbyterian Church. The event is free and open to the public to attend or enter. Categories will include flowering annuals, perennials and biennials, decorative perennial foliage, bulb flowers, hostas, herbs, flowering container grown plants, foliage container grown plants, combination plantings, arboreal, or vegetables. Bloody Run Historical Society will meet at 6 p.m. July 11 at the Station Museum in Everett. Barb Miller’s historical exhibit at the Everett Free Library in July will be a continuation of June’s display, with a quiz “Where were they located?” in addition to a display of photos and articles on Everett’s first graduate, S. Howard Gump, and the Gibboney family, the owners of the Cottage Planing Mill. On July 17, at 2 p.m. the society will host its second annual Floyd Cornell Magic Show. Don Foor will make a special guest appearance. There is no admission to the show; donations are appreciated.

Alumni reunion dinner for graduates of Smith, Replogle and Woodbury schools before 1958 and NBC classes of 1958 to 1962 will be held Oct. 8 at the former Replogle Elementary school in New Enterprise. Social time will begin at 11 a.m., and lunch will be served at noon. The Loysburg Theater group will entertain. Information letters will be sent later in the summer. Everett Sportsman will host 50-clay target sporting clay shoots from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the first Sunday. No shoot will be held in July, when the annual cancer shoot takes place. Cost will be $1 per card for regular games and $5 per card for black outs. The club will be open Sundays from noon to about 7 p.m. and be closed on Mondays.
